How thick is a standard changing pad?
My changing table came with what I think is a "dressing pad". It's only about 1" thick. I'm trying Padded Covers to buy a cover for it, but everything I see just says 16" x 32" Standard Size Changing Pad Cover, or something similar. I know the length and width are right, but how do I know what the thickness is? I think my dressing pad is thinner than a standard changing pad.

you have two of these q’s. look on the other there’s my answer
The vaccum thing is good, if it is collapsible, but for closed cell foam, you need to just bend the foam in half to slip it into the sleeve. If this is something you do regularly, you might want to slip the foam into sleeves before they finish drying fully. Boat cushions shouldnt have much of a problem with mildewing, so you wont have stink to worry about by not completely drying the sleeves. You can let the cushions finish drying in the sun.
We tried these and they were by gerber and were bulky and uncomfortable, plus the leaked. We found the better solution to be the leak proof training pants by Bummis. Here is a link where you can get them. They run a little bit big. And when you wash them you want to make sure to dry them inside out or they take forever to dry. These were a lifesaver for us. Plus for night time use you can add a cloth diaper diaper. Here’s the website for the store I bought them from: http://www.babymoonboutique.com/SPD/training-pant-bummis-free-shipping-on-all-domestic-orders-over-$100–6363198801519215105.jsp
They don’t sell padded bottoms…but make sure to get a very tight swimsuit bottom to avoid sagging.Bottoms like these would enhance and/or hide your butt:http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/3007183?refsid=260912_1&refcat=0%7e2376776%7e2374327%7e2379759%7e2383542&SourceID=1&SlotID=2&origin=related&cm_Sp=Related-Items-_-Product-_-Manualhttp://shop.nordstrom.com/S/3006454/0~2378467~2378483~6023509?mediumthumbnail=Y&origin=category&searchtype=&pbo=6023509&P=3http://www1.bloomingdales.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=233258&CategoryID=16327&PageID=5609*2*24*-1*-1*2#mainProductImagehttp://www1.bloomingdales.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=174224&CategoryID=16327&PageID=5609*2*24*-1*-1*1#mainProductImage
Velcro is cheaper, easier, and it won’t get stuck like a zipper will. If you stick the cover in the washing machine you won’t have to listen to “clunk, clunk, clunk” and it will be completely hidden from view.
Babies R Us has them listed as ‘neck wings’ under carseat accessories. I know you can get them at Walmart and Target too.
That’s actually the exact reason you buy a cover in the first place, so you can take it off and wash it if this happens. Mine is pink and soft, and yeah, I think about how I don’t want it to get dirty, but the truth is….babies are messy and as long as you can slip it off and wash it, I would go with the brown one for style and deal with the mess. Towels are defiantly an option, but then what will inevitably happen is that you will have an ugly towel you don’t care about over the cute cover just to prevent what the cover was there for in the first place.
Its not padding its insulation to help keep in the heat, so dont sit on it or let kids play on it , it will break and not cheap to replace
Don’t think you can, foam won’t hold holes very well. I think you need to either glue pieces or sew the fabric together so it hugs the foam.
I think it’s Ok, I did it! Flip the mattress and put a mattress cover and sheet on it and how could it hurt? I think it’ll be fine.
I see no reason not to wash it with your other laundry, unless there are instructions on it not to do so. You may want to hang or lay it flat to dry though…the dryer might cause it to shrink and not fit properly, unless you know it’s made of a fabric that does not shrink.

This way if they are tossed around a bit they won’t get marked. For the price of chocolates they just want them to stay as pretty when packed as when someone opens them.
Pretty much, unless you have a very funky shaped pad. We picked up a cheap one at Target and it works fine with our changing pad.You may want to purchase one at a store so you can return it if it doesn’t work out, though. Also check and see if there are measurements on them(can’t remember if there is).
It’s called a “mitznefet”. It’s not really padding, but a puffy helmet cover made of mesh. It’s a type of camouflage intended to disguise the shape of the wearer’s head and helmet, with the added bonus of keeping the sun out of the wearer’s face.
uhhh dont steal………… theif

It prevents the head from being rapidly thrusted back, which could stop a neck injury.
I agree. I think the mulch will be fine. With water shoes and the surface of the mulch, it shouldn’t be very slippery. I would focus more on keeping them occupied and having fun in the water as well as enforcing rules such as “no running” to keep them safe.
