You don’t have to get a 4 channel amp. Get a Behringer EP2500 for around $350-$400. It’s a 2 channel amp rated at 450wpc@8ohm and 650wpc@4ohm. If you bridge it(1 channel) it will do 1300W@8ohm and 2400W@4 ohm. If you parallel a pair of your speakers for each stereo channel then you will have a 4ohm load per side and each speaker will see 325 watts RMS. It’s better to have more than enough power than not enough. Check out their website for all the specs. Good luck.

You need a standard mini to audio cable. If you have a home theater like mine, just hook the red and white ends into the back of your amp, and hook the mini-jack side into the headphone jack of your ipod. Make sure you turn the volume all the way up on the ipod due to its low power output. Sounds pretty good in my house, make sure you get a “Monster Cable” approx: 30$.. Rock on!! And to the person below, Monster is the only way to go!! Just hold the two cables in hand and you’ll see/feel the difference. More shielding, better metal, and a tighter fit all translates to better sound, audiophile or not — Monster has a lifetime warranty.
