Where can I buy a heavy duty ironing board cover?
My mother in-law requested the old style ironing Heavy Duty board cover for Christmas. I think it's made of unbleached muslin. The style from the 60's. Her main request was that the material was heavy duty, not the silver or thin material.

the UV radiation from the sun will destroy the plastic that surrounds the wires. so you can use it very temporarily.
You are probably better off phoning the supplier and asking them. It might just be that the casing is a bit tougher.
i use a metal paint for your job. then i would put a clear coating on to make it lost longer for you . i did it with all the play gound thing in the pack a camp. it work well.
its tedious I know but its a necessity. To get rid of all those darn bed mites and bed bugs- this cycle is required for mattresses esp the thick ones. Then you’ll have to dry them at high at that. If you use regular cycle and it doesn’t clean enough – when it dries it will smell like vinegar or something worse… pickled something.
The heavy duty ( truck block ) ones have a higher block deck height ( where the head bolts too ) and this allows them to use a longer connecting rod to get an increase in torque.
