Usually they are not available to the public. You can try your vendors web site but you prob wont have acess. What brand is it? Imay be able to help get you one. Only certifed techs usually have access to that imfo from vendors. WhichI happen to be.

These are a rare breed – not the car but the Ford Cougar service manual, take a look at the link below – I got it sent from these guys last week – came across ad in car magazinehttp://fordservicemanuals.blogspot.com/2009/01/ford-cougar-factory-workshop-service.htmlAnother place to try for a Ford Cougar service manual is http://repairbooks.co.uk

I have a service manual set for that car, I got it from the Subaru dealer parts department, it was about $250 in 2002 when I got the car, I think that I am missing the auto transmission book, but I have the rest of them.other places will not have it as no others have made one for that car yet.if you want me to look something up for you, just message me.I think that subaruparts.com has the set for the lowest price at about $122 (I think, the website is so confusing) but they have bad costumer service and are just as likely to send any random part, but it is possible to get accurate things from them if you have time.

They refer to the official shop overhaul manual for that particular car or truck. It’s a dealer only publication that costs hundreds of dollars. Haynes and Chilton’s manuals aren’t even close.
