go visit a small appliance repair store, the repair man can tell you what fits, and may be able to order you a replacement bowl….
Well…. If you’re going to be paying for it, I suggest virtual dj. It has all the effects you could ever want, the thing is that you can only get it off the site. So you can get the virtual dj for scratching but you’d be very limited in the effects department. If you’re looking for a free software that you can download, fruity loops is incredible and what you should get. It’s like having your own studio. The only problem with fruity loops is that it’s not as easy to use as virtual dj and it’ll take you a while before you pick it up.Been djing for about 4 years now, i’m not pro or anything I just do it for fun, and I djed at a bunch of our school dances.
This place here is good to find DJ stuff = http://www.pssl.com /dj gear
you know what man. years back i bought something called the hercules mk2 console. its really cheap and its a midi controller and a mixer built into one. its built crappy like plastic. but the cool thing about this is that you can look on line at forums and you can rig this to use for the original final scratch 1.5 software. so if you make a future investment in tables (i think this also works for virtual dj) all you have to get is the vinyl time codes for either of these programs and your in the mix. But if you dont want to do that i have a friend that has purchased the m audio xponent and he loves it. the mixes that you can pull off with that is crazy because of the extra built in effects that you can use with the torq software on the computer and the 1.5 update that they give you should be free if you register the hardware. good luck on what you decide to do.
If you’re DJing, you should be using vinyl not a computer simulation! However, when the song is loaded, the timecoded vinyl takes over with any manipulations (spinning or backspinning the turntable).
Yes it will work fine.
There are too many mixers out there. My suggestion is that you should narrow down your options by price and read some of the available reviews.List of mixers:http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fs%3Fie%3DUTF8%26x%3D0%26ref%255F%3Dnb%255Fss%26y%3D0%26field-keywords%3Dmixer%26url%3Dsearch-alias%253Delectronics&tag=alldevs-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=390957
you need timecoded vinyl and a souncard. http://www.virtualdj.com/products/hardware.html go towards the bottom of the page and you will see some soundcards for timecode users and at the very bottom is where the vinyls are buy those things and you are good to go
Most mixers do not come with any type of audio cables or accessories. You will have to buy them separately. Hope this helps.
That is definetely the right choice my wife got it about two weeks ago and she has been thrilled with it
A scratch mixer does not make the scratch sound it just makes it a bit easier to scratch. The scratch sound is made by the cd player or turntable. Yes, you need scratch cd players to get the scratch sound.
