Pro Mixer is great. I don’t know what else to say. I was amazed at the quality of Pro Mixer and highly recommend that you take a look and see for yourself.
bought a kitchenaid Pro 600 mixer for christmas, used it twice, now motor whining, shutting off?
Spent a lot of money on this. Turned it on today and it goes Pro Mixer from 0 to highest speed then shuts off, even on stir. We treasure this item and have the box and store in it properly. We literally used it twice for items like whipped cream and pancake batter. We bought it from ACE Hardware online. Anyone else have this problem? Warrenty expired. Don't know how to proceed.

Many virtual instruments come with Pro Tools (for free), and you can purchase an abundant amount. Also, you can use programs like Abelton Live and Reason as a virtual instrument in Pro Tools as well. You should consider talking to some of the experts on Pro Tools at http://www.audioneeds.com – There is tons of great information on that site.
I have owned that mixer for 3 years now and I know it pretty well. You cannot get the built in effects out of the direct outputs.Direct outputs are only used when you want to get the output sound from only ONE channel at a time. My first question would be…..why are you using the direct outputs anyway? The main outputs will give you the mix of all the outputs together plus effects. You can vary the amount of effects on any one channel by adjusting the EFX knob for that one channel.E-mail me if you have any other specific questions on that board. My e-mail is in my profile.
i have a basic kitchen aid mixer with a 4.5 quart bowl. it works fine and I even use it for a cake business. Kitchen aids are found in most pastry kitchens and are used when small batches are needed. Kitchen aid and Hobart are the same company and the quality is excellent.
Either one will work great. Get the cheaper one if that is all you can afford.I own lots of Behringer equipment and it all works great.
16 channel’s sounds fine.
You may be able to find something on ebay. If all else fails, go to kitchenaid.com. They usually have lists of replacement accessories.ebay may be cheaper.
