No. Bluetooth support on the ipod touch 2g 3.0 is limited to earphones only. The supported bluetooth profile for audio is A2DP only.

  2. Daniel K says:

You cannot get a true stereo recording that way.To get a true stereo recording, each mic needs a separate input on the mixer or recorder (left and right). If you use a Y cable and run both into one jack, that will end up being a mono setup. You really need to invest in a mixer or recorder with two inputs if you want a stereo recording.See:http://www.shurenotes.com/issue25/article.asp

The “M-S” means mid side. This is where you basically have two microphones at 90 degree angles to each other, and each mic is a separate recording channel (stereo). Because of the pick-up characteristics of a microphone, having the two microphones in this orientation picks up some sounds that might otherwise be canceled out due to microphone placement. In post-production, the engineer can then use either channel or a mix of both of the microphone channels to get the best, most realistic sound recording.A shotgun mic is one that has been designed with a very narrow sound field, making it highly directional. This is good for long distance miking of a narrow sound source.

i would buy a shure microphone. that’s what i have. your not going to be plugging into a stereo. what you want to get is a PA system. these can be very expensive, so what i would do is just get a small guitar amp at your local music store. you will need to get an adapter so you can plug the microphone into the amp. ask the guy at the store, he will probably know what your talking about.

  5. Speedbird says:

Just buy some Apple earphones with a mic, and use that. Works fine.

  6. wires says:

You can use 2 resistors to do this. Just do this twice if you want both right and left channels. Since you say it a headphone out, take about a 300 to 500 ohm resistor from each channel hot to ground. This loads the circuit with the equivalent of the headphones. Connect a 27,000 (27k) to 47,000 (47k) ohm resistor in series to feed the mic input. If using two of these for left and right the other end of the 33k to 47k resistors can be connected together and then fed into the mic input. As crude as it sounds, it works and is effective. I’ve done this several times in the past.

  8. Mister X says:

Use the line in port (typically blue) instead of the microphone port, but know that the line in port has a different input impedance value than the microphone port, which means the level of the sound may be diminished. No worries if you know how to amplify the recorded signal with audio software. You may have to open up your sound volume controls and un-mute the line in port from the INPUT section. Un-muting it on the output section will just mean whatever is coming through your line-in port will be played through your speakers.

  9. Daniel K says:

You can connect a mic to a home stereo. You will need to buy a cheap mic mixer first:http://www.zzounds.com/item–BEHXENTX502The tape outputs on the mixer will connect to an unused input on the stereo receiver.Be careful though, home stereo equipment is not designed to be used as a PA or DJ system. You really should consider investing in some real DJ equipment. You can easily damage your speakers if you push the volume up too much.

It can be done either way. Your karaoke machine should have output jacks on the back, just connect it with your reciever (any input except phono) with a patch cord. There are also RCA/3.5mm adapters to hook the mic into your reciever (you will need to hook up the mic to the “tape” input, and activate “tape monitor” to hear both inputs.

  12. Oo,oo, Pick Me! says:

Normally the same stereo side is fed through correctly so a mono-input from a mon-plug will work. If it’s a mono 1/8″ to a 1/4″ stereo, you should be go to go. Only way to be sure is to connect it up.Ron
