Overall, the Pyle Pro was great, and I have no problem recommending Pyle Pro for anyone wanting one. LOVE THIS Pyle Pro
Is this a good deal 10 points?

Hi,I didn’t read all the specs. Is it the Yamaha RX-V367? When I look at the back pic at amazon, the output labeled “subwoofer” is IMO “Unamplified”. It means when directly connecting it to a subwoofer speaker, it will not sound big. Though there is audio output coming from the pre-amplifier or the receiver itself, it Needs Amplification hence you need a “Powered” Subwoofer(It is called powered because there is a built-in amplifier in the subwoofer enclosure) You have a 5.1 output receiver. All 5 outputs with speaker terminals can be connected directly to the speakers because its amplified already, while the Sub out is not.OK here it is: RMS Output Power (1kHz) 100W x 5 Total Power (20Hz – 20kHz) 500W (1kHz) Base on the above, the 500W is equally divided among the 5 surround outputs. Its amplifier say 100W per channel. Since the total power is only 500W, it means the Sub out is “Unamplified”
Well probably there’s too much distortion within the amp. Try putting down the treble, and mids. That should help
