How do I get a cheap mic to sound like a radio mic?
The mic is a ATR55 Telemike. I have the appropriate windscreen setup, and it is fed Mic Mike into the pc or mac using a high quality interface. I need to know how to make this mic sound like (or similar to) a radio mike, like the EV re20. It lacks lots of warmth and depth in the sound, which I have had a hard time recreating. VST, DX, or AU are all fine.
