You can’t. The PTF or PTT file is just a placeholder for metadata and only really contains information regarding session data. If it was an AIFF that the studio gave you most computers should be able to just open them. If not there are a million AIFF converters on google.-KDecka
Yes, I have heard of them. They are very inexpensive DJ speakers. My advice would be just to get them – you may like them just fine. Here is a great DJ speaker for not too much money:http://www.zzounds.com/item–BEHB215ANo amps needed with this speaker.
I would have to say yes as rms is continuous where you rarely hit peak. 8 ohms resistance plus 800 watts peak needs no more than 1000 watt amp.
Are you asking basically how to get music through the optical input? Then it would be garageband… i’ve done it with drum tracks… as for going more “professional”, i don’t know as i’m not a pro as well…
It is powerful software with great recording quality.Only your pro micing technique and your pro mixing skills will give you a pro sound.Pro Tools can’t make you sound good.I would never use any other software to record and mix.
There’s a lot of choice really…You can check:- Cockos Reaper- Cakewalk Sonar- Ableton Live- FL Studio- and more… http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_audio_workstation#Commercial_systemsPerhaps even Audacity would suffice if you really only need to record vocals over pre-existing music. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/A more pro version of that would be Sony’s Sound Forge or Steinberg WaveLab.Make sure you try demos to see what you like working with.In case you end up getting FL Studio (my preferred choice) you can get the download version (or any Image-Line product) with 10% discount through this promo link: http://support.flstudio.com/jshop/shop.php?offer=Default&promo=BACJBAA468Good luck finding the right software!
