Pod Studio is great. I don’t know what else to say. I was amazed at the quality of Pod Studio and highly recommend that you take a look and see for yourself.
Does anybody know what the easiest recording studio software is and where I can get it?
I would like Pod Studio to know what is the most user friendly, and also what I need to run it. I have a pod pro and I would like to incorperate it as well. If anyone could give me any tips I would really apreciate it.

Definitely get the headphones. There is nothing whatsoever wrong with your neighbor. He has the right to peace and quiet after 10p.m. You need to learn how to be considerate of others AND still make things work for yourself. It’s part of growing up. Get the headphones, the biggest ones you can afford. They’ll give you a better sound. Then, get a strobe light. Draw your curtains closed, turn on the light, and play. It’s more fun that way.
A friend of mine once brought over some box that allows you to plug an instrument into it and then plug the box into the computer to record to get a clean sound. I don’t remember what it’s called, though. If you can’t get one of those, you basically have to play the song into a video camera that has a mic while listening to it through an mp3 player to ensure that you are playing to the song exactly on tempo. You can then edit the original song audio over the cover and make sure it is synchronized exactly. Windows Movie Maker really sucks so you might have to buy or download a video editing program like Sony Vegas.
Hello! First, I am presuming that when you mention studio speakers, you are talking about reference monitors. If so, they are designed to provide a very flat frequency response, and will not give you a good guitar sound. Further, the Pod XT or X3 cannot be directly coupled to speakers; you need an amplifier to process the signal, and then send it to the speakers. My recommendation would be to purchase a decent combo amplifier, maybe even a Line 6 model with the effects already built into the unit. Best regards, Dana
You can get a good Microphone for $25-$30 and to hook it up to your PC you should find out what plugins you have on your computer. Go to http://www.musiciansfriend.com for the lowest prices and best information. The best thing to do is to get a USB plugin Mic and get the Audio Recording Software. Don’t spend more then $250, if higher then that it is not worth it. Apple has made a recording software for Mac computers and you can find that on the website above just by typing in Apple. It might be on another page. HOPE THIS HELPS!
