That would work, but I’d want something a little bigger and more serious. You might check on EBay to see what’s available lightly used. You just need a keyboard (like this one), not a synthesizer, because FL Studio makes its own sounds. Also most MIDI keyboards today are not really MIDI at all but USB (like this one), which is better because you don’t need to buy a MIDI port.
The nanopad’s pads can be assigned to trigger any sound source (including loops/beats) in FL Studio with MIDI learn. The X/Y pad can also send MIDI CC so you can change parameters in FL Studio or external plug-ins.btw, in case you end up buying a license for FL Studio, here’s my promo link for 10% discount on a purchase from Image-Line: https://support.image-line.com/jshop/shop.php?offer=Default&promo=BACJBAA468Just make sure you get the right version. The demo is basically the same as the Producer Edition, except for some of the generators like Sytrus and Directwave that are only available in the Signature Bundle. You can compare the editions here: http://flstudio.image-line.com/documents/editions.html
