How can I connect my piano keyboard to my computer using the parallel port?
I have a converter from midi to the serial port (fastlane midi interface). My keyboard is plugged into Keyboard Interface the midi cord and the parallel port to the computer, but nothing is happening. I've looked all over for drivers and programs that would recognize the parallel port but nothing is there for midi to parallel conversion. The only ports on the converter are midi and a small round port that is used for the cord that goes to the parallel(still long one).

Yes it is possible, if you buy the keyboard it shouldn’t come up. Well for me it doesn’t. You could go to settings and seee maybe if you cahnged something
