This is exactly what I was looking for. Audio Delta is awesome and was the best investment I ever made.
how can i get music (iTunes) to play through my M Audio Delta 1010LT?
i've installed the card, and connected analogue outputs 1 and 2 to my speakers, Audio Delta and set the delta 10101LT as my default for audio playback, but i still don't hear anything. am i doing something wrong? if so, how can i fix this? or is the card ONLY for music creation. i just want to set it to do all audio tasks for convenience, rather than keep switching between sound cards.

I also have an M-Audio 1010 sound card. There has been no driver available for Windows Vista until this month. It’s for Windows Vista 32-bit. If you go to the M-Audio website and click on drivers you can download the new driver.
here is a review for the 1010lt” The Delta 1010LT delivers much of the same universal connectivity, high fidelity and seamless performance as the popular Delta 1010 on a single PCI card—and at a fraction of the price. Multiple analog I/O, MIDI, S/PDIF and surround sound support are all here. Two inputs even have mic/line preamps on XLR connectors, saving the expense of outboard preamps. It’s all on a compact, half-size PCI card with two color-coded breakout cables. Combine up to four Deltas in your system for a maximum of 32 analog and four stereo S/PDIF inputs and output”
I don’t have Vista myself but since it’s a Windows component try this. On XP I go to my control pannel and add or remove prgrams and then on the left hand side there is a list and I click on add/remove windows components then uncheck what you want to get rid of and click next. then just follow anyother instructions. this may not be what your looking for but as i say i down have Vista.Jack
I’m not sure about sound cards failing when using iTunes. Check with the sound card manufacturer and see if you can get it replaced.
I bet your microphone needs “phantom power” (which most pre-amps can provide). Many microphones need power(volts) to operate correctly. What other devices have you tried on the inputs?#
Since MacOSX is written for specific hardware settings, not driver-run hardware, you have two choices – you can buy a sound card that’s designed to work with OSX or you can write a driver to make your card work with OSX. If the card doesn’t use the ports, or the memory addresses, or something else, that OSX is talking to, there’s no sound card as far as OSX is concerned.Sorry, but that’s how electronics works.
i’m assuming your in the uk…http://www.dv247.com/invt/173/also try turnkey and dolphin music , both on the web.or have a look at the m-audio site for country specific sellers.

I think you mean “devas,” darling. The name means “shining ones” and typically refers to celestial beings who are different from a personal god or Ishvara.
