When Xlr Patch arrived, I opened the package and was impressed with the solid packaging which insured Xlr Patch didn’t arrive damaged in any way, shape, or form.
Overall, my experience was amazing. I hope this helps you make a solid buying decision.
Is there a difference between a 3.5mm (1/8") Audio Patch Cable Vs. a 3.5mm Mic Cable?
Basically, I have a camera Xlr Patch with a 3.5mm mic connector.I also have an XLR mic with a XLR to 3.5mm converter. Now I just need a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable, but I was wondering if there's a difference between the audio 3.5mm cable and the mic 3.5mm cable.

The mic cable might be a bit better quality and have a better shield than the audio patch cable, but they are both the same. One might be tip-ring-sleeve with the ground on the sleeve. The other might be tip-ring or tip-sleeve with no ground. Be sure to check. Might be a difference. You didn’t say whether the connectors are 3 conductor (tip-ring-sleeve) or 2 conductor (tip-sleeve). The BX5’s take either XLR or balanced 1/4″ connections, either one will work just as well as the other (they’re the same cable, just with different connectors). Just make sure that you’re using a BALANCED 1/4″ cable. The connector should have TWO colored rings on it, not just one (that’s an unbalanced instrument cable).I recommend the Mogami Gold Series. They’re a little more expensive, but they have a lifetime guarantee and the sound quality is superb. I don’t use anything else.

Anything you hook up to the mixer can be captured real time. 18 separate channels. If you had a Mac, you wouldn’t even need extra software. It just shows up as a core audio device.
