In this review of Elite Core, I am going to show you both the good and the bad. After all, what is a review without some honesty, right? First, I have to tell you upfront that Elite Core is my favorite choice. Sure, there are other products in the same class, but frankly, none of them as good (in terms of quality). I do have to say this though. some other products may be better, but based on quality and price, Elite Core is the clear winner.

Nope… they sell the new Arcades for $199, so you won’t get anywhere near that for a trade in.
The Core has been discontinued for 3 years. It has the console, a wired controller, and standard AV cables. No save device at all. The Arcade has the console, wireless controller, standard cables, and 512MB of internal memory. The Pro has been discontinued for a little over a month, but you may be able to find stores that still have some. It has the console, wireless controller, component cables, 60GB hard drive, Ethernet cables and headset for Xbox Live. It was the best selling version until it was discontinued. The Elite is black. It has everything the Pro has except it has a 120GB hard drive instead of the 60. The 360 can use a wired or wireless connection. It requires the wireless adapter to work and it’s expensive at $99. It’s the only one that will work. Most people just use a wired connection and hook it up to their modem or router. All versions of the 360 can perform the same tasks. None of them are made better than the others. it’s the accessories that make them different. The hard drives and all other accessories are also sold separately and can be added to any version.
If you look around on game forums you will see a lot of people that get “the red ring of death”. Most of these are on the first release units….. The good news now is that you will get a 3 year warranty with any unit you buy….. no need for the extended warranty then!I have the 360, got it the first day it came out and have had to replace it once under warranty. From what I have read, the new units have been redone so there are fewer issues.
the core 360 only comes with the basic yellow-white-red composite cable. meanwhile, the elite comes with the composite cable, as well as a component cable (red-blue-green), *and* an HDMI port and cable. If you’re looking for the best possible Hi-Def experience, go with the Elite, because I know from personal experience that HDMI completely pwnz all other audio/video cable systems. The Pro 360 bundle also comes with HDMI, if you’d rather not spend an extra chunk of cash for an extra 100 GB in the hard drive.
Go to the store and ask them, this isn’t the gamestop price guide.The elite is much better than the core pro, it isn’t prone to the RROD problem, and it’s much much faster than the core. It also has a 120gig hard drive, instead of the 60gig the core has.
The black is a limited edition for one so it is a big deal plus it looks better. 120 gb hard drive and HDMI. The hard drive alone runs $179 and HDMI cable are extremely expensive. My tv is 1080i and it didn’t have HDMI connections but I went with elite anyway because of the hard drive and that cable will cost a lot of money when I upgrade my tv in the future.

Well, the core has absolutely no memory, and a wired controller, plus it is plain white, and the elite makes the core look like a hobo. First of all, it has a 120 gb memory which is 120 dollars, its black, wireless controllers, has a special red white and yellow cord which on it you can switch through HD or a regular tv, And much more. I only have a regular Xbox360 not core, but it is freakin sweet!!!! Same as the elit but has a 20gb memory and is white. Get the Elite!!!!!!
The elite has the HDMI cable which sort of kinda maybe almost improves the graphics a little bit, but the core isn’t equipped for a gammer (missing a memory device, micro-phone, so on…)
Well firstly the core has been discontinued and replaced with the 360 Arcade.1 – The core has no hard drive. Elite has a 120GB hard drive.2 – Core only has analogue output where as apparently the Elite has HDMI output3 – The Elite is matt black. The Core is white.4 – You cannot just use any hard drive with a 360 unless you feel like doing some modifications to it.5 – Given the above slapping an 80 GB HD onto a core would not give you an Elite. 40GB short, no HDMI and not Matt Black.
You have to consider them the favorite to win the Super Bowl. The biggest question has to be is can Maroney handle the running duties on his own. They have a couple of good complimentary backs in Kevin Faulk and Sammy Morris, but neither will carry a team. The only team I can see beating them is San DIego because they do have a great defense and could score with them.The only real weakness they might have is their pass defense and teams could score on New England, but their front seven is strong especially with adding Adelius Thomas.
