You want a USB capture device.
please search here. This is the best place.http://xrl.us/b7hjjhttp://www.google.comThanks
It is most likely that that isn’t a S-Video cable but a multimedia cable designed for use with certain electronics that use extra pins in it to transmit audio as well. Also, if this is the case, it is not transmitting true S-Video, but composite video, which is of slightly poorer quality.
The RCA out on the receiver is not powered, it is designed to be used with a powered sub…so you would need an external sub-woofer amp to power your sub, so cables alone will not do the trick,,if you get an amp it will have RCA in and speaker wire out…
VGA to Component cables don’t work, unless your video card supports component video out over VGA (rare but possible).Instead of buying converters, it may be cheaper to buy a small TV.
SOLUTION:======================You must use a 3 1/4″ Male to Male cable to plug into the 3 1/4″ jack on your TV.EXPLANATION:======================This is where they trick you. The RCA plugs are ALWAYS linked to a specific video in, and the audio will only work on that input. For example: INPUT 1 – (V) (L)(R) INPUT 2 – (V) (L)(R) the Left and right (red and white) will only work when you are on input 1 or input 2This is because the Red and White RCAs are linked to a Yellow RCA (Video) or S-Video Input. This is just the way it works. The VGA cable (also called RGB) is linked to its own audio input. It is a 3 1/4″ jack. This is the standard headphone jack size. You will need a simple cable for $5 at radio shack. It is called a 3 1/4″ Male to Male cable.ENJOY!
If you have a dvd PLAYER, then it has no inputs at all. It has rca OUTPUTS to go to your TV. If your TV has RCA inputs, then you’re all set to go.But if your TV only has a coaxial RF input, then you’ll need to buy an RF Modulator, available from Radio Shack, Wal~Mart, Target, Best Buy, CVS, etc for about $20 or so. Depending upon the limitations of your cable box and/or your TV, you may also need to buy an A/B switch so you can manually switch between cable and DVD.
Two things. . .you say “RCA” cable, are you referring to the 3 wire RCA cable that is Video/L-Audio/R-Audio (aka a “composite video” cable)? First, if that is what you are referring to you are aware that is not a HD compatible cable, correct? Further I would be doubtful that there is a high enough quality composite video cable (i.e. low loss) since they are just not made for high quality signal transmission. If you’re talking about a 3 or 5 wire RCA cable (aka 3-wires for video [Y/Pb/Pr aka R/G/B]) or 5 wire (aforementioned video + 2 channel audio) this is an HD capable cable, if you buy a high quality cable with low loss characteristics you would probably be ok. I would recommend a cable whose individual strands are made at least of RG-6 coax. I’m including a link to a reasonably priced low loss component cable source.
Call your cable company and ask for a set-top box with s-video or composite video out.Or if you have an old VCR and simple analog cable, that may work as well.
Your laptop probably doesn’t have RCA out jacks. You’ll need to use the headphone jack. That will require a cable with the plug on one end and RCA on the other. Then you hook the RCA to the Audio In on the television. Good Luck
It’s a little more complicated than that, but the device you’re looking for does exist. It’s called a line-output converter, and it can be found at any car audio store.
The standards are poor = free, good = $15, better = $50, best =$500. Stay away from poor, they will eventually break, you should be fine with good.
YesAll DVDs output analog audio in parallel with digital audio. You can use either stereo RCA or coax/optical s/pdif.
well i could be a component inputwith out the audio portion
