Download your motherboard manual here. Plug placement should be found there.http://safemanuals.com/user-guide-instructions-owner-manual/ASUS/P4P800-_EBTW: Points for chosen answers are always 10 here. You can’t give more or less than that.
go down to radio shak , you can run audio anywhere you want with the right adaptors
The mic cable might be a bit better quality and have a better shield than the audio patch cable, but they are both the same. One might be tip-ring-sleeve with the ground on the sleeve. The other might be tip-ring or tip-sleeve with no ground. Be sure to check. Might be a difference. You didn’t say whether the connectors are 3 conductor (tip-ring-sleeve) or 2 conductor (tip-sleeve). Good question. The main factor when answering this question is budget. If you want great sound quality, go for stand alone microphone. But if you’re going for that, you’ll also need cables, mic preamp and good audi interface.Check my answer herehttp://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Aj0zspp4qRl.QzO8fgU2yvfty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20091130171953AAdsDyd&show=7#profile-info-AA12007197If you’re on a budget, just buy a USB mic. I recommend AT2020.http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0006H92QK?ie=UTF8&tag=rp1-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B0006H92QK
I haven’t found a way to do it myself, but you can always ask the submit a ticket on trittontechnologies.com to ask if it is possible. If you’ve broken it and have it under warranty just tell them you shocked it with static by accident and they’ll probably send you a new one.
No – a mic does not have an input – only output. the tape/cd/auc/do is also an output, I would not plug the mic into that. the signal and power would be going the “wrong way” and probably fry it out.
You’ll need a Phantom power supply to power the mic, and an audio interface to connect it to your computer. Whatever you do, don’t get a USB mic, because you cannot properly monitor yourself.Phantom Powerhttp://www.zzounds.com/prodsearch?q=phantom+power&button=search%2Fheader&form=searchPCI Audio Interfaces (This type you must physically install in your computer)http://www.zzounds.com/cat–PCI-Audio-Interfaces–2421USB Audio Interfaceshttp://www.zzounds.com/prodsearch?q=&cat2=&cat=2424&ob=pop&rl=&rh=&button=search%2Ffilter&form=searchFirewire Audio Interfaces (need Firewire support)http://www.zzounds.com/prodsearch?q=&cat2=&cat=2420&ob=p19&rl=&rh=&button=search%2Ffilter&form=search
did you think of google? the first result of “Electro Voice 630″ shows the wiring and tells you about the pins.
you need an female xlr to balanced 1/8 male. It shouldn’t need phantom power to run.
It would help to know the make and model of wireless. Most good systems use a standard XLR mic connector. Just connect it to the sound system like any mic with a XLR cable. Many wireless also have a 1/4 inch output for short distances. If the receiver is within 10 feet of the mixer, you will be ok to use a 1/4 inch cable. It might be good to buy a XLR and a 1/4 inch cable just to be safe.
TRS connectorOR3.5mm audio cableYou probably require a Male/Male cable aka Jack/Jack.
Damage? From what? Assuming they are XLR cables, go for it. No damage, no problem. I’ve do that a lot – with no damage to the cables, mics, board… no damage at all. There’s nothing to damage.
Depends on what kind of quality you’re looking for. If you just want something that works and don’t care about it being studio quality, you could just buy a Rock Band USB mic and plug that in. If you want absolute maximum quality, the mixer and XLR condenser mic is the way to go.
yes download skype its free.maybe next time you should be more specific.take care
