cables Information On Cable Series

I had to buy several items just to realize that Cable Series was the best choice for the price all along. The only negatives I’ve found were that there are better units available, but they are more expensive and the reviews I found on them were on the negative side. So here’s my final word. I 100% endorse Cable Series and will even show you some places to get it even cheaper than retail.

The DVD player gets hooked up directly to the TV. Presumably, your TV has various sets of inputs. If it’s an HDTV, it will probably have an HDMI, more than one set of component inputs (red, blue, green) plus audio (red and white), and perhaps a set of composite inputs (red, white, yellow). If you have a relatively new DVD player, it may have an HDMI output (which carries both audio and video). If it doesn’t, use the component outputs for video and add an audio cable. When you want to watch a DVD, you change the input on your TV from where the Tivo is hooked up to where the DVD player is hooked up (there’s a button on the remote to do this). As for the VCR, it depends what you want to do with it. If you want to make tapes from your Tivo, you need to hook it up to the Tivo (out from Tivo and in to VCR). If you just want to watch tapes, hook it up directly to the TV using a different set of inputs from what is already used by the Tivo and the DVD player.Good luck!

Without a cable box, the Tivo will only pick up the standard cable channels. That means anything which a cable box is needed for (HBO, Cinemax, some specialty cable channels usually over channel 99 etc.) cannot be recorded. Some Tivos will record 2 channels, some just one. Make sure there is a return policy if anything seems funny and pay by credit card or Paypal so you can get your money back.

I think that the 24/7 concept was brilliant as far as promoting the fight and getting the casual fan to watch it. HBO used to do the little mini-profiles of each fighter before a fight, which i enjoyed because it gave you a glimpse into each fighters life, but they had gotten away from that lately and i hope they start doing it again. And boxing needs a company like Golden Boy Promotions because i think they will always have the fighter’s best interest at hand. With fighters like Mosley, Hopkins, and Barrera being involved, Oscar has some good guys in his corner to help him be very successful and really take being a promoter to a new level. The Kings and Arums of the boxing world are all about one thing at the end of the day, filling their own pockets! I think with Golden Boy having fighters on it’s promotional roster, they are going to put fighters first because they know first hand how fighters end up getting screwed all the time. I think we’ll be seeing a lot more of the 24/7 type shows in the future from Golden Boy. It worked great!

Did you put the splitters before or after the cable box. If you’ve split the signal AFTER the cable box, you’ll only get the single channel that the cable box is tuned to. If you put the splitter BEFORE the cable box, you SHOULD be able to tune in all the analog channels available on the cable system (generally everything under channel 100). If you’ve set everything up correctly, and still have no luck, I suspect the previous answerer is correct — you’ve split the signal too much, and the signal strenght isn’t enough to receive the other channels (the one channel you CAN receive may be particularly strong for some reason).

You want to go to your remote press your list button, the on the buttom of the list you want to scroll to the right until you see series manager. All your series will be there on the list, find the one you didn’t want then press select or ok/sel, first option will be cancel series ..Bingo!!
