Dynamic mics tend to be a bit less prone to feedback. Condenser mics tend to be a bit more “full” sounding and more “crisp”. I personally would not use an expensive condenser mic for karaoke. Cheap dynamic mics will work fine and last a long time – dynamic mics are more durable too. There is no magic wand to stop feedback – the mic user needs to “sing” VERY close to the mic and really needs to project. If they do both those things, you can turn the volume down on that mic channel which will keep you away from feedback. You should have the speaker forward of the mics if at all possible and keep the singers away from the speakers. http://shure.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/shure.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=71
You can tell the difference because of the emitted sounds.Electret polarized mic’s sound like Polar Bears when you use it.Externally Polarized mic’s sound Sub-Polar Penguins when you use it.
sounds like something in the settings.need more info- are you using a mac or a pc? what operating system?
You can connect a mic to a home stereo. You will need to buy a cheap mic mixer first:http://www.zzounds.com/item–BEHXENTX502The tape outputs on the mixer will connect to an unused input on the stereo receiver.Be careful though, home stereo equipment is not designed to be used as a PA or DJ system. You really should consider investing in some real DJ equipment. You can easily damage your speakers if you push the volume up too much.
I’m afraid I don’t quite understand what you’re actually saying here… If the sound comes though loud and clear, then the microphone is working, right? I will assume the hardware is only recognized first time you plug it in.It may be that what you’re saying is the headphones are working, but not the microphone? If so, then there are only a few possible solutions: – A faulty wire- Faulty plug- Faulty mike- A switch on the headset (if there is one) to turn on- Some setup changes needed in the softwareAt least on the lap top there should be a symbol in your task manager (desk top) to your sound card settings. Some time you will need to adjust these settings to get and audio input or output to work. Usually, it is pretty self explanatory, with sliders to adjust up or down
► that depends on what exactly you want to do with it► if you just want to “patch” the game audio output to the computer and maybe record it – then you’ll have to buy some adapters and cables► if you want to use it directly with out the PS2 it probably ain’t gonna happen without using some expensive equipment like a mixing board
ugh i have that problem too!i wanna record youtube videos…sorry this answer was no help…..
I have a laptop (HP Vista) and it has the same thing, however I just plug a new microphone into the little plug that has a microphone sign beside it. (On mine it is at the front of the computer, on the bottom edge, sort of.)Then it just works.Hopefully this helps.
