Your setup makes no sense. What do you want to do? I assume you want to connect your Laptop to the speaker system. If that is the case, what are the INPUTs of the speakers system used for? You may not have to connect to all 3.What happens if you only connect the Laptop output (3.5 mm) to each of the speaker inputs? The best you can do is get a 3.5 mm splitter, one output from laptop to two inputs in the speaker system.
When it comes to headphones, there are only THREE different types in the entire world – 3.5mm, 6.3mm and 2.5mm (both of which are fairly rare)…ALL portable devices (CD players, MP3 players, PSP, DS, Walkmans – and anything else you can think of!) use 3.5mm.2.5mm are mostly used with 2-way radios and mobile phones (though these are fairly uncommon now).Older (and high-end) Stereo Systems still use the 6.3mm – but these are also uncommon. In short, the Zune DOES have the standard sized jack
;)
I’m pretty sure you actually have to pay for new voices and the one you have is the only one you get for free.(In Classic View)Go to Control Panel > Speech to check it out.
I tried listening to the audio bible with Liza Minnelli, but I didn’t have enough cigarettes.
It does!! typeusb to stereointo ebay(where you can find everything that exist)
go down to your nearest electronics store and pick up a set of RCA jacks that have the adapter to fit into the earphone part of your i pod instead of the charging station portion of your i pod. the jacks are short and have two wires that come to one with the earphone jack on one side. its not going to charge your i pod but you will definitely get sound!!
Run a text to speech program with that text and a female voice, and record it.
You can find some of Dorothy Fadiman’s films online here:http://concentric.org/page2.html
the reason you’re finding them so short is that there is a maximum distance before radiation distortion is introduced. It’s the same with all cabling. Just thought i’d drop that down for you before you make a 12 foot cable only to find that the sound is crap.
RCA Phono Cable- you can get one for 85p at http://www.amazon.co.uk/RCA-Phono-Plugs-GOLD-1-2/dp/B0007RQY7E/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1274199292&sr=8-4
The connections on the front of the TV are inputs only, not outputs, and as such cannot send the audio to another device. In fact you say there is an audio and a video jack, as in 1 each, indicating that the TV does not have stereo sound. If so then no sound coming through the TV will be stereo (two speaker). The only way to get stereo sound is to bypass the TV, meaning instead of sending the red and white cables from a source to the TV send them directly to the audio system/speaker package. Good Luck
radio shack should have one. If not they should be able to get adapters to put onto a cable to convert it into the cable you need.
Is it a stero jack?
This is what lare is talking about: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103862&cp=&pg=2&sr=1&origkw=audio+cables&kw=audio+cables&parentPage=search
Have you tried Radio Shack or Fry’s?Your looking for an adaptor to connect your headphones to an amp. I can understand that. You can find all sorts of connectors and adaptors at both places. I have found Radio Shack the most helpful. No clue where you live though, these are USA companies. Just find a place that sells electronics and you should have no trouble getting the part.
yes, go to radio shack
You won’t find an adaptor, because they are different signals. What you need is a D/A converter box and a headphone preamp. You will need to set the TV to PCM out.Or you can get a dolby digital surround decoder. They will cost a bit more.
you can find them herehttp://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fs%3Fie%3DUTF8%26rs%3D%26ref_%3Dsr%255Fnr%255Fi%255F0%26keywords%3Daudio%252Fvideo%2520splitter%26qid%3D1262134996%26rh%3Di%253Aaps%252Ck%253Aaudio%252Fvideo%2520splitter%252Ci%253Aelectronics&tag=wwwbestdisc08-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=390957
Check out the links below and see if they have what you need.
Yes… Buy some contact cleaner. Make absolutely sure what you buy is safe for plastics.Spray a tiny shot into the jack… maybe a squirt on the plug… Then, insert and remove the plug a few times. Presto!!!TV tuner cleaner will work too… http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103700&cp=&sr=1&origkw=contact+cleaner&kw=contact+cleaner&parentPage=searchhttp://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2104746&cp=2032058.2032229.2032259&parentPage=familyIt could also be that the contacts inside the jack are bent out of shape and not making a good contact. Dirty is much more common though. Worth a shot.Alcohol is not half as good at removing oxidation as contact cleaner is. Though, the alcohol / pipe cleaner thing would probably work. I’d be worried the pipe cleaners could “grab” and bend or break the rather delicate contacts inside the jack.
