The only way you burn calories by eating food is basically the chewing of the food. Cooking food does not in itself add or subtract any calories from the food. There are only so many calories in any given piece of food and there is really nothing that can change that. However, when cooking most people would use some kind of an oil to cook with, this adds calories. If a piece of food was cooked with no additions like oil, it would have the same amount of calories as that same food uncooked. It is suggested that the biological advantage of cooking foods was to kill off harmful parasites.

Jeremy – I would highly recommend just getting a 32 channel mixer in the first place. It will work much better. You need to remember that each mixer has internal busses that are tied together. When you combine two mixers, those internal busses are not tied together. Trying to bridge the busses does not work well and will be a nightmare. If you insist on doing this, 32 channel 8 return and 16 channel 4 return snakes are widely available:http://www.audiopile.net/products/Stagelink_snakes/PSPX-32-8/PSPX-32-8_cutsheet.shtmlhttp://www.audiopile.net/products/Stagelink_snakes/PSPX-16-4/PSPX-16-4_cutsheet.shtmlXLR Splitters are available too in many combinations:http://www.audiopile.net/products/Stagelink_snakes/Snakes.shtml

Ryanh – I have been doing sound for 20 years and my first recommendation is to buy, borrow or steal (kidding) a mixer that is big enough for the job in the first place. In my old days, I tried putting two mixers together and it does not work well and it ends up being confusing and the last thing a sound guy needs is more confusion. If you insist on using two boards, just take the main output of one board and connect it to an input on the second board. If you are running monitor mixes too, this is where it gets a bit complicated (that is why it is better to get one board big enough for the job). If you want me to explain that to you, I will need to know the make and model of each board. My e-mail is in my profile.

nope you can’t. but you can put pictures on an sd card. and view then on the photo channel and post them on your wii message board to be saved to your wii and so you can send them to your friends.oryou can add your yahoo email to your wii and e-mail pictures to your wii. you have a limit of 500K per picture I think? or somewhere there. and you can only send one picture at a time. (it must be a .jpg picture)

OK a few things. First, who is Mr. Dan? Unless your board uses the insert for the direct out, the connector would not be a TRS connector. An insert would use TRS because of the need for three conductors Send, receive and ground. A direct out only needs two conductors for out and ground. I’m also confused as to why you have a need to send 8 channels of program back to the stage. Is it for monitor’s? If so that would be very incorrect. Use aux sends for monitors. But assuming you have an application that makes sense here’s what I would recommend. Purchase the length of snake that you need. Three conductors per channel, individually shielded. Purchase 16 TRS male connectors and a good soldering iron. If you don’t know how to solder it should not be hard to find someone to help you. Insure you used the shield conductor for the ground and you keep the ring and tip the same on each side of the wire. In the end you will have a product that is perfect for your application and you will spend much less. I can provide any or all of the needed parts. You may contact me via yahoo questions e-mail. Additional: Yes! That should work just fine and is a good way of achieving your goal. Good Luck.

Th mixer isn’t going to be the deciding factor. It is the equipment you mix. a powered snake runs signal through the XLR(or 1/4″, not sure what cable you have) but also an electrical charge to power microphones/equipment that would receive phantom power from the mixer when running just a cable. without knowing what kind of equipment you are mixing, I can’t give you a definite answer. If you still need help, send a PM to me and I’ll try to explain more

It is a little hard to see the snake but it looks like a checkered garter snake. These types of garter snakes are brown and have the markings that fit your description.

Venom contains enzymes which destroy the DNA and protein components of their ‘victims.’ Antivenin contains antibodies that specifically recognize these enzymes. When the antibodies contained in antivenin come into contact when the venomous enzymes, they bind the enzymes and ‘tag’ them for destruction by the body’s immune system.

  16. The Cheshire says:

There is not a “single” horse that is used to produce antivenin. It is just that they are able to produce different antivenins through the blood of horses (in general) as well as sheep (i believe).
