In case you need some more details, here is a full description and review of Audio Cable.
If you are looking to find Audio Cable online, then check this out:
whats the difference between a Toslink Optical audio cable and an analog audio cable?
I have the XtremeMac Audio Cable XtremeHD HDMI to DVI Cable so that I can watch my iMac on my TV (that works fine), however, I have no audio. I want to know which audio cord would be appropriate or a better product to buy.

no u don’t. the hdmi cable is comprised of both audio and video. Just plug one end into the cable box/ tuner and the other into ur hdtv and u should be good to go.
Ideally the subwoofer cable would be a 75 ohm, low capacitance, braided-shield, coaxial cable (you can make one inexpensively by putting “RCA male to F-connector” adapters on each end of a coaxial cable), since this provides good shielding from hum and the flattest frequency response. However, for normal use you can substitute any dual RCA cable. I have used RCA audio cables, and then looked in liquidation stores for proper subwoofer cables (often available for a few dollars) or simply made my own when I wanted a long cable (as described above). See the link for more info.
An orange RCA output is for digital audio. You need a receiver that is capable of accepting that type of input to decode the digital audio. You can’t just split the signal into two, because the red and white connection types only support analog audio.
Careful here – you should get identical sound with HDMI and optical using Dolby Digital. However – Dolby Digital is compressed. BluRay disks sometimes have un-compressed tracks called “DTS-Master” and … another term I cannot remember. These tracks are only available using an HDMI cable. There are some “emperors new clothes” issues with this:* Most people do not have highly sensitive music caliber speakers so they can hear the difference between compressed and un-compressed audio tracks* Hollywood hates to spend money so only a few premier disks have extra attention spent on the un-compressed soundtracks.
i think you mean xbox 360 , not possible, hdmi is digital, and the red/white cables are not. you would need a converter. ORrun hdmi to the monitor and optical out to your systemhttp://simple-pc.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/10/128348-1-1.jpglook at this.. ^^^run hdmi to the monitor and use the basic cables and run the sound to where you need to.
>How do I connect my TV to my external audio using an optical audio cable
when you set up your DISPLAY setting, you probably set it up by HDMI and AUTO?Then it would have asked you to define which AUDIO output method you’d like to use, (HDMI or SCART) if you chose HDMI, the whole thing should work as it is, but if it doesn’t you might have to use the AV cable and connect the red and white cables to a AUX stereo output
