It is difficult to provide accurate Terminal Board information, but we have gone through the rigor of putting together as much Terminal Board related information as possible.
I just replaced the battery in my 2nd generation ipod touch, and now it wont charge past about 10%?
I Terminal Board did the repair by the book and made sure all the terminals had a good connection to the board terminals. Why is it not charging? I have made sure there is no short and the battery is brand new.

Since you mention microcontroler board I will assume this is not a prototype board.Strip the end of the wire, insert through the hole you want to connect to and solder from the other side.Edit: More detail or a picture and I could be of more help. Email is ok
