It’s all about personal feel, but most players don’t bother to put two polys on one racquet. The point of hybrid stringing is to create a balance between the durability of a poly with the comfort of a natural/synthetic gut. But, your setup might work as Luxilon strings are generally softer and if you string it with tension differences between the two, you should be able to find a certain feel for your racquet.

yes cause i have a stuffed whale.

More pros are going to at least one hybrid in their bag. Some may have two. It typically replaces the 3 or 4 iron (or both). The hybrid gives good trajectory and allows backspin to help you hold the greens from the longer distances. In short, they are easier to hit consistently for most players, regardless of the level of your game. Why not make it as easy on yourself as you can?

First choice: Head FXP 17, great playing, reasonable durability.2nd choice: Wilson NXT Tour 16 or 17, plays and lasts well.3rd choice: Babolat Xcel, 16 or 17, OK in both categories, matches well with Hurricane Pro 17.

Yes the Hd/Sd cable will work on your sd tv. I have a SD tv and the HD/SD cables work fine. Just make sure you sd cables are plugged in or it wonk work.To use in an SDTV:Plug the Red, White and Yellow cables (they are grouped together) in the correct ports on your TVORPlug those 3 cables into the Scart Adaptor and plug it into the back of your TV in the Scart Socket

Fetal development at 8 weeksThe baby is now about the size of a grape – almost an inch in size. Eyelids and ears are forming and even the tip of the nose is visible. The arms and legs are well formed. The fingers and toes grow longer and more distinct.I got this from Webmd.com. It pretty much states that while blood is pumping (with a heart) at 4 weeks, your spinal column (your central nervous system) doesn’t develop until around 6 weeks. Most abortions happen after 6 weeks.

Baker777 is right on the money on this one , also it depends what degree your hybrid is you left that small detail out , BTW I am 41 and I hit my 21 degree Titleist 505 Hybrid 250 yards , nice and easy , dont forget you got to keepem in the fairway !

I also use my hybrid to fill the gap between my 3 wood and my 3 iron. I chose the 18° and find it to be quite easy to hit and I really like the distance and control that I get. I would make the same choice again and would recommend the 18° lof to you as well.

I have seen some pros use them. Don’t forget, hybrids were created for those of us who cannot hit long irons and cannot really hit fairway woods. The pros are Pros because generally they can do both. So its not as necessary for them to use one. I have seen it more on the LPGA and Champions tour and some on the Nationwide Tour, than the PGA Tour. Probably because the PGA Tour guys who you see on TV are generally longer hitters, and dont need to use them.

Hybrids emit less pollution, with some models classified as Partial Zero Emission Vehicles by the California Air Resources Board. Each gallon of gasoline not burned prevents the emission of 19 pounds of carbon dioxide, which many believe contributes to global warming. The government also gives you tax breaks ranging anywhere from $650 to $3,150 depending on the model. Hybrids also tend to have excellent reliability. There are also some cons for the hybrids. In our analysis, only two of the six hybrids we have tested recovered their price premium in the first five years and 75,000 miles of ownership (see Hybrids vs. all gas). The Toyota Prius and Honda Civic Hybrid provide a savings of about $400 and $300, respectively, over that period. But that is only if buyers are able to take advantage of limited federal tax credits. Extra ownership costs over five years for the other four models ranged from about $1,900 to $5,500, compared with those of similar all-gas models. Another problem to consider is what if your hybrid breaks? How many mechanics do you know have the capabilities to fix or troubleshoot a battery pack or other hybrid component? Given the probability of a part breaking within 5 years is low, but it should be taken into consideration.

I had a Adams 3 iron hybrid first generation. They were excellent but the Pro hybrid is less forgiving than the other Adams hybrids. Their fly trajectory is a bit lower than the OS model and the weight at the back has to be changed by a qualified club fitter.

Signum Pro Plasma HEXtreme at 56 the mains and Technifibre X-One Biphase 17 at 58 in crosses. This is my favorite hybrid, hope it works for you. Remember when you string, do not take the racquet out to play straight off the stringer. Let the strings “set” for a day or so, to prevent tension loss and string movement.http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/Signum_Pro_Plasma_HEXtreme16L_Pure_String/descpageACFORTEN-SIGPHEX16W.htmlhttp://www.tennis-warehouse.com/Tecnifibre_X-One_Biphase_17_String_/descpageACTFUSA-X117.html

It’s a very good combination. The hurricane in the mains will give you extra durability. The softer excel in the crosses will add feel and playability. One tip on stringing the hurricane….you may want to string the hurricane a little looser then other, non-polyester strings. Most string manufacturers recommend 10% less tension due to the stiffness of the string. Many of the people I string for have found that stringing the hurricane 2-4 pounds less then synthetic gut strings adds some power and feel. Stringing the polyester to tight can cause less power and a harder feel at impact.

Well from what I know at the time the Hybrid is completley used and worn out and ready to be destroyed, I’ve heard that the motor for the hybrid electricity storage system causes more damage to the environment balancing out the saved emmisions from all those years of driving.

You can’t run it on your macbook pro unless it has a vga cable thing on it…Which it would probably not have…So you can only pretty much run it on Windows, unless you find a way to get a vga on that macbook…I’ve tried to hook my XBOX360 to my mac, but I couldn’t find a vga insput…If you don’t know what the vga cable is, heres a picturehttp://www.youravcablestore.com/images/vga-gender-changer-1.jpg

it should be 5times the weight of your body on the ground.

  18. Zach says:

they really don’t help that much… pollution is a bigger environmental concern (especially in water)Pros: cheap, less gas, somewhat environmentally friendly Cons: they aren’t cool at all

Favorite hybrid car: Toyota PriusFavorite hybrid truck: Ford Escape HybridBoth are best in fuel economy in the US market, low emissions, and are full hybrids (unlike the mild hybrids that GM makes). Best priced, too.

  20. Lil Shamir says:

I don’t believe they are out quite yet, but they will be soon. If you are thinking about getting one, I’d say go for it. My Nickent hybrid is my favorite club in my bag. There has to be a reason why so many pros use them. Best clubs for the money by far.Just keep checking http://www.golfsmith.com. When they come out, they should be on there.
