What's the DUMBEST question you ever heard?
In my living room along with the normal average living room furniture are 2 speakers about 5 feet tall and 3 feet wide, 2 bit amplifiers and a big mixer and 6 guitars on stands and racks. A guy I never met before coms in my house, sets down and tries to talk Rack Amplifier me into buying something I don't need. He's been here about 15 or 20 minute, looks around and says, "You play the guitar"?What's the dumbest question you've ever been asked?that should say 2 BIG amplifiers, oops I missesHey Ichigo, not bad for a dumb question, nearly 40 freekin answers in 5 minutes.LOL, kijkwijz a mixer is a large amplifier with about a hundred switches and knobs that all the electric instruments and microphones and computers and EVERYTHING plugs into, then it feeds that power to the big speakers. LOL,, It's not a kitchen mixer thing.could also be called a sound processor

i assume this is for an outdoor event rather than a house? do you need an amp/mixer or a power amp? i would say go Yamaha, its not on your list but they seem built ok and should have protection built in to help protect the speakers from clip if you do get a bit excited. for a power amp to work you need to have a mixer to mix all the of the sources into the one output and manage the volume by that, i assume you no all of that. have fun.

From looking at the vendor’s webpage and clicking on the rear-panel view to view an enlargement, it appears that the A800 has a switch to select either line voltage; take a look at yours, and if this is the case, you’re OK on that one. As for the 2120, these appear to be made as separate versions with no selector. I would be surprised if they actually used different transformers for the two versions (I suspect that it’s possible to change transformer wire jumpers internally), but this is not certain. You might have to use an external step-up transformer instead (sometimes marketed as “power converters” or “voltage converters”) to get 240V from a 120V source. Note that the 2120 can consume 750 watts, so we’re not talking about the small transformers made for 240V electric shavers! However, it can be done for under $100.

Those racks are preamps and digital effects(delays, reverb, overdrive, chorus, phaser, etc) and doesn’t affect the sound off the amp but the sound of the guitar. The effects are preset before the show start and the guitarist can select them using a pedal connected to them by wires.

    subtract the parallel sides. e.g. 27/4 – 38/8 = 54/8 – 38/8…= 16/8 = 2…then get the pythagorean thm to get the slanted side…thus…s^2 = (23/2)^2 + 2^2s^2 = 169/4 + 16/4s^2 = 185/4s = √(185)/2that’s the answer..
