I’ve been a bit slow on posting reviews of the last couple of Amplifier Power, but it’s time to catch up. Overall, the Amplifier Power was great, and I have no problem recommending Amplifier Power for anyone wanting one.
I LOVE THIS Amplifier Power
Where do I plug in the antenna amplifier power supply?
I have a rooftop antenna that needs amplification. They all seem to require power. If I put the amplifier in by Amplifier Power the antenna on the roof, where am I supposed to find a plug in for the power supply? Do most people create an outlet in their attic and plug it into that? Where do they get their power source? My cabling goes from the antenna into a junction box at the side of the house and then to each of the 4 sets in the house thru the attic.

i have a mono 900 watt rms amp powering two subwoofers. it has two outputs even tho it is a mono amp, that parallels the two 4 ohm subs to 2 ohms. it splits the power to 450 watts rms to each subwoofer.
What kind of “sound system”? For home, or automotive?
If these are your speakers:http://www.maxiaudio.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=P115BAny amp with at least 150 watts into 8 ohms will work.Remember it is distortion that blows speakers. Never push your amp into distortion – you will destroy your speakers very quickly. It is more dangerous to underpower your DJ speakers than to overpower them. An underpowered amp will distort sooner. Here is a good cheap amp:http://www.zzounds.com/item–BEHEP1500I’m sure they are available in the UK too.
First, examine the vehicle for an existing penetration in the firewall that provides access to the engine compartment from the passenger compartment. If there isn’t one, you will need to drill a hole in the firewall. Make sure you are not drilling into any wires or vehicle components and then drill an appropriately sized hole through the firewall. Place a rubber grommet in the hole and then thread the wire through the grommet. Try to find a grommet that fits snuggly on your amp power cable so it will help to keep the drilled hole as water tight as possible. Also drill the hole so that the grommet fits snuggly as well, don’t drill it too big. Make sure to secure your power cable inside the engine compartmentso it isn’t loose. Good luck!
Isn’t that obvious? There is no change in power input between no signal and full output. If power is being dissipated in the speakers it is not being dissipated in the valve. Less power lower temperature.
It is probably 30 watts per channel, but I could be wrong.Yes it will work fine with your speakers. Just don’t play it so loud that the amp goes into distortion. Distortion is what blows your speakers.
For a 200w amp you will need an adapter able to give at least 12V/20A this means 250W and it will be BIG!!!!!
Not enough information. What frequencies are you amplifying? What is your supply volatage and how much gain do you want. 10W is not a “gain” its a power rating.
I would recomend a older punch rockford fosgate, i have a punch 200a4, its 50rms per channel, that would be plenty for you, as in those were way underated, its 4 channel, just hook each channel up to your speakers, you can pick a used one up for around 75 bucks on ebay, dont listen to peak, that means nothing, its all about rms, just google punch amp, and you will see what people have to say, im powering 2 8in subs right now and omg, its so nice.
It must have some kind of line output that would connect to the input of a power amp. The connector will be 1/4 inch and might be called “pre out” or “line out”.The red/white “tape out” will work too with the right cable.DO NOT try to connect the speaker outputs to an amp. You might damage the amp.E-mail me if you have other questions. My e-mail is in my profile.
As a general rule the RMS is about half the peak. so about 300 – 330wrms. Mind you if they arn’t even stating the power figure it probably isn’t very good quality.Ben
if the neon has its own pos. and neg. wire you can hook them right up to your speaker terminals to have the light with the bass
i would think that you may burn something up by hooking both to one speaker read into your amp and see if its bridgeable also look into different ways of connecting speakers i.e. series or Parallel good luck
take to a shop can be anything from a capacitor to the major output chips
120 to 12v. converters can be expensive and usually not worth it, anyway 30 amps to 60 should be fine but the converter will likely run out of power before the subs reach their limits.ac to dc converters can run hundreds for what you want, 150.00 is likely the cheapest you will find.
Yes – A power amp is a power amp. You will need passive speakers to work with that amp.
hmm, buy an SC09tx pioneer elite reciever, bridge 2 channels into mono, fry a 7000 dollar home amplifier, then kick yourself later when you realize that you could have bought a JL Fathom with a built in amp for a quarter of the price you paid for a home amplifier that can provide you with 500 continuous watts of power.
200 watts max wow that’s not a very big amp. u can hooked that amp up to any subs, its just wont sound as good as the higher rating subs. if ur going to hooked it up to a subwoofer i would reccommend one subwoofer instead of 2. i would look into a single 15′ rockford P2 their 500w max 250rms, i had one of them in my f150 with a 500w amp and it hit pretty hard.
