Should I get a 35 Watt amp or a 65 watt amp?
Im buying an Acoustic amp, and I have a choice of either a 35 or a 65, and I already have a 50 watt amp for my electric, and is loud enough of on the "1 O'Clock", and I just wanted to know how many watts would be good Watts Hybrid for my hybrid acoustic Ibanez Montage Acoustic Guitar. I mainly play in my room, and i prefer bigger amps (bigger sized amps) but i dont know how loud the 65 would be.....?? I'll be recording a cd in the spring, and i'll be doing a couple acoustic songs, so what amp would be better for that too? I MIGHT be playing small gigs, very small, prob. gigs for my fam/friends....Could you guys help me, the amp is a Kustom Sieanna 35and Sieanna 65Thanks!!Ohh yhea, ill also be doing covers of songs on youtube... so yhea....

I think the oil companies are pretending that we have very little gas left, to make us pay more. Its just a big lie, we have plenty of gas, there’s no reason for these prices, and the government won’t step in and help.

here’s the diagram. replace 2 ohm with 1 ohm. if u wire in series u get a 2 ohm load. that’s what u need for most amps which will not handle .5 ohms if u bridged that sub parallel. this is parallel wiring:http://a248.e.akamai.net/pix.crutchfield.com/ca/learningcenter/car/subwoofer_wiring/1DVC_4-ohm_mono.jpg

the manufacturer, technology and availability determine the cost.either way by the time the battery needs to be replaced you should be able to pull one out of a salvage yard for cheap.some hybrids may never require battery replacement.

Build an enclosure in the trunk?… I don’t know what that guy is talking about. Two of those are Not fitting in a “trunk” !!!Yes, only way is to have a enclosure built. Give them the specs for the subs… such as hole cutout, vented/sealed, frequency of the vent, cubic foot per chamber, mounting depth. It will have to be one Solid enclosure to support the weight of those subs and handle the pressure.

http://spkrbox1.spaces.msn.com/ for real “sound” advice.Your system won’t mean squat without a well designed box to put your subs in. Some manufacturers have recommendations as to dimensions of various types of boxes. It is best to find someone who builds boxes if you go with something other than a sealed box.You should always match up RMS (Root Mean Square) watts of Subs and amp per channel as well as impedance’s(resistances). If your amp is rated at 4Ω don’t subject it to 2Ω, it will fry. Here is the formula for subs in parallel:Z = 1 / (1/sub1 + 1/sub2 + 1/sub3 + ….)For series, just add them up (sub1 + sub2 + …).You can mix and match these equations to get the right impedance required by your amp.Example: 4 subs @ 4Ω each. If I connect two in parallel and the other two in parallel and tie the two pairs in series, I would have a total impedance(resistance) of 4Ω. So to the amp, it’s just one sub. You should use a capacitor as well.Recommend for every 500 watts MAX you use a .5 Farad capExample: 1000 watts MAX – 1 Farad capTry http://www.soundomain.com/shop you can find some really good deals, and this site is manufacturer certified. VERY IMPORTANT WHEN SHOPPING ON-LINE!!! You will also need what’s called a “line level converter” if your stock head unit doesn’t have RCA outputs or your amp doesn’t have high-level inputs. If you like I can send you some plans for reference. My plans are for a 4-th order band pass bass box that holds two 12’s. Also included are java calculators you can use to figure parallel and series values given Ω values.Just e-mail me sparky3489@yahoo.comMy systemBlaupunkt TSw1200 subs with a Sony Xplōd XM2200GTX.My amp is 1200 watts, subs are 600 watts each, cap is 1.2 FaradSPL is about 112 dbTotal cost(so far) = $410

Just use Google. There are tons of alternator companies out there. You will just need to search a little bit and check prices. A couple of alternator brands are Ohio Generator, Iraggi, DC power, HO Alternator, etc. Check some of those companies out or find some of your own.Getting a cap/battery product will not be of much help. If you are running that much power there is no way around getting a high output alternator or dual alternator setup. The alternator is what produces all electrical power in your car when the engine is running. The battery will only power your car when the engine is off. It plays a fairly small role when the car is on. Getting a new battery/cap will not produce more power, which is what you need. Save your money by not buying the battery/cap and buy a very large alternator or dual alternator setup. It is the only way you can power that large of a system. You will also NEED to do the “big 3″ (google it as well) upgrade. It is a must when running that much power and if you get another alternator.Good Luck!!!
