if there is only one wire that goes to the modem..make sure it is plugged into the green plug-in..make sure the power supply is plugged in and the main power on the speaker is turned on.
Hi francois. It does not matter what i think. It only matters what you think. Are you happy with the sound? Or do you feel a different speaker might be better .Only you can answer. There are not two people alike who have exactly the same preference to the sound of a particular speaker. And there is no such thing as a “best speaker”,they are all subjective evaluations by people as to what they think is better or worse (not best) for a particular speaker.
It says it’s for Zune. Unless you know the dock connectors are the same on Zune and Sansa, just e-mail A-L. If you mean with an auxiliary cable though, yes, it’ll work. The aux cable won’t charge and the remote won’t work. If you’re going to go that route, honestly, what I would do is just grab a set of the computer speakers they have on sale for half off. I have an A-L dock, several pairs of their earbuds and I have three sets of those speakers. For forty bucks, they rock! You can use the speakers on a computer or portable DVD player too.I didn’t know they ever had anything for Sansa, but then I didn’t know they had Zune docks either — being an iPod kinda gal! lol
you should look into these they aren’t to expensive and they are probably a lot better than the ones your already using. http://quazen.com/shopping/consumer-electronics/electronics-review-ifrogz-earpollution-plugz-earbuds/hope i helped
The speakers are fine, but Ubuntu may be having issues with your sound card. You’ll need to either update this post with the type of sound card(s) you are using, or try going to http://ubuntuforums.org. The support community there is great!
If you can’t find the right drivers manually I would recommend just getting a software program that can do it for you. There is a program I use which will find drivers for just about all hardware devices. The best part is it takes a snapshot of your system specifications and matches the right driver to go with it. Perform a free driver scan at:http://www.driver-update-software.com
