If you are looking for Amplifier Ipod then you are in the right place. Check out this review:
In this review of Amplifier Ipod, I’m going to show you both the good and the bad. After all, what’s a review without some honesty, right? First, I have to tell you upfront that Amplifier Ipod is my favorite choice. Sure, there’s other products in the same class, but frankly, none of them as good (in terms of quality). I do have to say this though. some other products may be better, but based on quality and price, Amplifier Ipod is the clear winner.
Why does the audio from laptop have static on my amplifier?
I have a 25 watt guitar amplifier that works Amplifier Ipod fine, no static, with my CD player, and iPod. But when I plug in my laptop I get a loud static sound. What could be the problem here? Thanks for your advice! When I mute my laptop, there is still high static...

They are just saying the earphones are worth more than the iPod. I’d recomment getting Skullcandy headphones. They’re usually on sale and work great. Some are as low as nine dollars and they’re as good as any other brand. Expensive doesn’t mean better.
Well to do it the right way you need to look for a Faceplate, or deck. These can range from 95$ for a basic one with a aux jack to 1300 with a full flip out dvd and navigation system. Go to Crutchfield.com and look at their “outfit your car” section and look at the face plates you can put in your car. 99% of the new ones will have an ipod input, and they are the clearest ways to make your ipod play through your car stereo.
Need some more information, what kind of amplifier are we talking about? A guitar amp? A headphone amp?If you just need to amplify the music, there are many ways to do that, there’s boomboxes made for the iPod, along with other speaker systems. You can even use those cheap little cassette adapters with an older radio boombox if that’s you’re bag. And there are also more modern stereos that have a specific 3.5mm jack for external audio sources, often iPods or other MP3 players. For that you’ll need a M to M 3.5mm audio cable. Walmart, Radio Shack, etc. will have these. Hope this helps!A guitar amp, okay, same idea applies, you need to connect the iPod to the input of the amp with a M to M cable, on one end you need the 3.5mm plug for the headphone port of the iPod, on the other end you need the 1/4 in plug for the input of the amp. I put a couple of links below for your viewing enjoyment. Hope this helps!
Pick your poison
I’d probably take the Samson 40i. http://www.zzounds.com/prodsearch?q=ipod+amplifier&form=searchOnce you settle on a brand, then browse the other sites for price. Guitar Center, American DJ Supply, are a couple of others.Carl
You would need this special cable called a “male to male” cable.I know it sounds funny, but just plug it into your car and turn the volume up on your iPod to hear your music.
To play an Ipod or CD player or anything through a guitar amp, you will need a cord that has a 1/8″ male connector on one (to go to the Ipod) side, and a 1/4″ male connection on the other side (to go to the amp). I don’t think Wal-mart carries them, but you can get them at Radioshack, or Fry’s, or your local electronics store. It’ll probably be about $10. You can just plug it into the regular input where the guitar cord usually goes.*Just so you know, guitar amps are only made to produce the frequencies that guitars make, so it’s not going to sound that great on super high notes or really low bass, but it’ll work and it’ll be loud! LOL
Yes, any receiver can play iPod music. You just need to connect a cable from the headphone jack on your ipod to the RCA jacks on back of the reciever (use the inputs on the back labelled CD or AUX).Here’s an example, but if you go to your local radio shack they’ll have something similar. http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-F8V235-12-12-Foot-Audio-Cable/dp/B000067RBT/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1245723583&sr=8-1

A stereo 1/8″ to RCA cable is all you need. That’s how I did my system.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHBI0LBGhR0
If you are ripping your own content (cds, dvds etc…) then simply increase the bit rate of the audio but if you are downloading a podcast or from iTunes then you will only hear a difference with your Bose if you have a trained ear or try buying a spliter for your iPod (only around $5-$10 bucks) and plug your regular earphones in along with your Bose. Put one in each ear and you should be able to hear a difference.
the reason this happened is because you wired the remote turn on lead to the power antenna connector on your wiring. this explains why it only works when am/ fm is on. you need to red the wiring and wire it into the remote turn on lead coming from the headunits wiring harness

If you plan to DJ for an audience $50 – $100 is not enough in the USA for DJ speakers and amps. You might want to save your money for a pair of “powered” speakers – they are speakers with the amps built in:Here is a good pair for a beginner:http://www.amazon.com/Behringer-MS40-Digital-40-Watt-Monitors/dp/B000MUPHLK/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1281531038&sr=1-3-fkmr1
just use what ever amplifier you car is equipped with all ready. no need for a special amp. hope that helps.
It sounds like you’re directly connected to the speaker. And no, it’s not going to get very loud.Turning on the amp will not make the signal louder (because you didn’t connect it to the input of the amp). In fact, there’s a good chance you’ll ruin your iPod if you turn on the amp with it connected to the speaker. The best thing (if you really want to do this) is to get an adapter cable (1/8″ stereo to 1/4″ mono) and just plug it into the input jack on the amp. It’s not going to sound great, but it will get loud.Greetings from Austin, TxKen
